Maundy Thursday Brunch - Thursday, April 13. All women of the community are invited for brunch and fellowship at 9:00 a.m. and a program at 9:30 a.m.. Our guest speaker this year is Cindy McKittrick from Hope Harbor in Marshall. Freewill donations accepted for the work of Hope Harbor.
Jr. RCYF: The Jr. RCYF will be heading to SkyZone in Sioux Falls on Friday, April 7 for our End-Of-Season Party. We will leave church at 5:00 p.m. We will also stop at McDonalds for supper.

Menning for winning The Story of Reality. This month our book giveaway is Cold Case Christianity and due to the interest in Cold Case Christianity for Kids, that will be the kid's book for the month again this month.
The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at our church on Monday, April 3 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Please call Betty Huisken (442-7131) for an appointment to donate. Making an appointment keeps the day going smoothly and the waiting line not so long. You may also make an appointment online. The need is constant. Please donate a unit of blood.
Hope Haven will host their Annual Benefit Auction on Friday, April 7 at Te Slaa Trucking (corner of Hwys 75 & 18). Help support the local and global ministries of Hope Haven through this exciting evening of fun and fellowship. Hope Haven invites you to celebrate Easter weekend with outstanding southern gospel music. The Dixie Melody boys from Kinston, NC will be presenting a benefit concert on Saturday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College in Sioux Center. The Dixie Melody Boys have been performing since 1960 and they have received many honors and awards. The concert will also feature the Master’s Voice Quartet from Sioux Falls, and the Triumphant Sound Quartet from Lawton, IA. Tickets will be $15 per person and sold only at the door. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Hope Haven.
Volunteer Work Day at Inspiration Hills on Thursday, May 6. Help them get ready for over 1,000 campers. Work day includes lunch. Your help helps us get the camp cleaned up from winter and groomed and ready for summer. We are specially requesting: Log splitters and people to split wood, 4 wheeler w/2 wheel trailers to groom trails, electric fence for the Horse Camp, and many miscellaneous projects.
The board and staff of New Life Treatment Center announces the 37th Annual Horse Ride-a-Thon. Horses with riders and horse drawn rigs will begin their trek from Pipestone County Fairgrounds and proceed to their destination at the Center in Woodstock. The date is Saturday, May 20 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mark your calendars. We held our first Horse Ride-a-Thon in 1980 and it continues to be a great opportunity for friends to meet and have fun together while raising funds for New Life.
