Congratulations to Jeff Snyder, Jeff Bleyenburg, and Orv Corbin who were elected to the office of
Elder and to Lucas Roskamp, Kirk Dirksen, and Bill Post who were elected to the office of Deacon. If there is any scriptural reason why these men should not be ordained and installed to their office, please see Scott Wassink or Pastor Mark.
Note: If you would like to honor or remember a loved one at Christmas time or any time of the year, please consider honoring them with a memorial brick in the Edgebrook courtyard. Please contact Ruth Corbin at Edgebrook. 507-442-7121

Learning Opportunity For Parents & Youth Leaders: Online and social media can be a dangerous place for our youth. The Southwest Crisis Center is bringing a national author and speaker, Alison Feigh of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, to Luverne in January to provide a training for community professionals and parents. She will give a presentation titled “Forensic Aspects of Online and Social Media Usage”. In this presentation she will help adults understand why youth are susceptible to online dangers, what those dangers are and ways to reduce the risk. This event will be January 25th, 2018 from 9am – 4pm at Grand Prairie Events. Registration is $50 and includes lunch catered by The Bluestem. Visit www.mnswcc.org to register or contact Jen at 507-283-9917 for more information.
