Thank You: The Consistory extends its’ deep gratitude to Jason and Shelli Menning for their years of service to the youth of First Reformed Church and the surrounding communities. They have served as youth directors most of the last 20 years. During their service the RCYF groups have grown beyond just the youth of our church. The mission trips they have organized have allowed the kids to reach deep into their souls and experience new cultures. Many have had “God Sightings” that will forever be a part of their lives and their individual walk with their Lord. All have gained an experience into outreach and helping others.
Book Giveaway: Congratulations to Lexi Van Dyke and Rod DeKam on winning the Cold-Case
Christianity book giveaway for April. For May we will be giving away Pray the Bible and Church
History ABC's. Sign up to win in the Narthex.
Pigs-in-the-blanket: We have finished making “pigs” for now and will resume in the Fall. We have some on hand, so if you want some over the summer contact: Linda Bleyenburg 442-4514, MaryAnn 442-5332, or Virginia Wassink 631-0002.
Vacation Bible School: Kids! How would you like to spend a week with other kids learning about God and how much he loves you? This year’s Bible stories and Bible verses remind us that God made each of us for a reason; God is for us; God is always with us; God will Always love us! What amazing promises that we can build our lives on. VBS is only three weeks away and registrations are due to your directors TODAY! See you soon at the Maker’s Fun Factory!
Helper/Leader: Nursery help is still needed. If you can help in this ministry see Nancy.
Thank you to the Priscilla circle for sponsoring this weeks radio broadcast in honor of Marjean
Students Attending Rocky Mountain High: On Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 7:00 PM we will be
having a class on the meaning and significance of the Lord's Supper. All students attending Rocky that have not made profession of faith are requested to attend this class. The elders of the church want to
ensure that students have learned what communion is all about before it is offered to them on any youth trips. If you are unable to attend, Pastor Mark will gladly meet with you to discuss it with you.
