Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make our annual Fall Soup supper a huge success. We were told by many that our food was delicious. So many of you that made soup or desserts or worked in the kitchen, or helped clean up, organize, or greeted people with a friendly smile. Thank you. We appreciate the extra time that everyone took to make this event successful again this year!
Volunteers Needed: Kids’ Choir is looking for parent volunteers for crowd control. Sign up for a week or a month. We’d really appreciate at least 2 volunteers per week. If your child comes to choir please sign up on the sheet in the narthex.
Food Shelf: The Edgerton Food Shelf is in need of: canned peaches, pears, potatoes, peas, vegetable soup. Also, spaghetti, tuna, peanut butter, jam, and pork & beans.
Fellowship: The Elders are in charge of Fellowship for the month of October.
Nursery Attendants Needed: Coffee Break Bible Study has a wonderful problem. The nursery is full of little ones. We could use more adults to help care for these little ones while their mom attends Bible Study. If you are available from 9:15 to 10:50 on Wednesdays please contact Thea at 507.227.9513. Even if you can only help once a month or as a substitute, it would be greatly
appreciated. Grandpas are welcome too!
Women’s Bible Study: “Hebrews, A Better Blend” ladies Bible Study will be starting on Saturday,
November 3 at 8:00 a.m. This is an 8 week Bible Study written by Leah C. Adams on the book of

Operation Christmas Child Boxes: Everyday boys and girls suffer from war, poverty, disease, and
natural disasters. OCC makes it possible for millions of these children to experience God’s love through
hoeboxes filled with gifts by caring individuals and families. We have the boxes in the entry area. We have both plastic or the printed kind, please take either and fill them with your gifts for a child in need. Remember we cannot send candy or toothpaste this year. Last year our church filled 129 boxes. We are shooting for at least 140 this year. Please consider filling a box this year to help a child who many not get a Christmas gift at all.
