Jr. RCYF: We are still looking for someone to fill the position for Jr. RCYF. This part time paid
position involves leading youth group on Wednesday evenings and coordinating other activities. There are 12-15 students in this group. Curriculum is already established. If you are interested or have any questions talk to Scott or Nancy Wassink or Pastor Mark.
Food Shelf: There is a box in the entry for items for the Food Shelf. They are in need of canned
vegetables, canned fruit, and soup.
Hurricane Relief: Next Sunday a representative of the St. Thomas Reformed Church in the US Virgin Islands will be visiting with our congregation via Skype to discuss their relief efforts following the impact of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The Joy Circle will be going to Edgebrook on October 15 at 6:30 p.m. for our program put on by the Youth Group from the Mennonite Church. We will bring goodies for lunch.
Cancer survivors, whether you are currently in the trenches of your cancer journey or now live in the month or years of its shadow, you are invited to four sessions that include faith-filled stories of
Christians with cancer, encouragement and above all the hope that is only found through our precious Lord. The evenings are facilitated by a cancer survivor. Every session is independent and different from the other so you can join us for one evening or for all. These will be held on 4 consecutive Mondays at 7:00 p.m. (October 16, 23, 30, and November 6)
On Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. you are invited to join reformed Christians throughout SW Minnesota in a worship service to be held at First CRC, Edgerton. This service will celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation and how the truths of the reformation still resonate for us today. Please join us in praising God for his great faithfulness to his church. During this service we will be nourished by God’s Word and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow. Through our time together, Jesus’ Church will be built up and readied to follow as disciples of His. We look forward to worshipping with you!
The American Reformed Church in Luverne is sponsoring the 7th Annual Gospel Jubilee on Sunday Afternoon, October 29, starting at 3:00 p.m. Enjoy the music of The Kingsmen Quarter from 3-5 p.m., followed by a lunch at 5 p.m. for $5.00. This meal is a fund raiser for a mission trip. Freewill offerings will be received to help with expenses for the Quartet.
The Brown Family (Le Mars, IA) Concert at Southwest MN Christian High School, Edgerton, will be held on Friday, November 10 starting at 7:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. Their music from the heart - family style, will include patriotic, praise and worship, and a few holiday selections. Please mark your calendars for an evening of soaking in the sounds of remembrance, joy, celebration. Tickets area $10.00 in advance, $12.00 at the doors.
