Niger Mission Trip: Final Update

The last four days have been a blur; so much to do with not enough time.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we performed a few surgeries and procedures. There were a lot of things to think about and go over before we left on Friday.

Our goal was to complete as many surgeries as we possibly could, but our wants and timing were not always in line with God's plans. What we leave here has to be a good foundation for the eye team to continue witnessing through eye care to the people of Niger.

The surgeries we completed were successful, which will help spread the word in two ways: quality eye care and, more importantly, the gospel!

I have had a wonderful time here in Africa; I can hardly believe it has been two weeks already.

To say that I have been blessed by my time here is an understatement! I was a very small part of something that will, Lord willing, be huge!
