Genesis | The Beginning of God’s Story

The book of Genesis lays the foundation for how we understand God, the world, and ourselves. In these opening chapters of Scripture, we see that God is the Creator of all things, that He has made the world with order and purpose, and that humanity is created in His image.

Genesis also explains why the world is not as it should be. Through the fall into sin, death and disorder enter creation. Yet even here, we begin to see God’s unfolding plan of redemption—a promise that will carry through the rest of Scripture.

This series works through Genesis in sections, helping us see both the big picture of God’s work and the details of His covenant faithfulness to His people.
