Thank You: Thank you to everyone who supported and helped assemble our Jr High Super Bowl Slider Fundraiser! Because of your generosity and hard work, we raised $1,443 toward Jr High activities. We are grateful for our volunteers and congregation for making this event a success!
Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to the family of Rose Veenhof, who passed away on Monday. Please keep her family in your prayers during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements are being made for March 21.
Directory: If you have any changes for the directory, please place them in the box outside Kris’ office by February 15.
Care Groups 2026: Caring for one another has always been an important part of life at First Reformed Church. Our Care Groups help us continue this calling through simple, Christ-centered acts of kindness and connection within our church family. As Scripture reminds us, “Love your neighbor as yourself” - Mark 12:31. An informational Care Group description along with a list of the 2026 Care Groups can be found in your church mailbox. Please get in touch with Caitlin Arp if you have any questions.
Reminder: Please check the church kitchen if you are missing a cake pan or bar pan. There are quite a few left behind, feel free to take a look and see if one belongs to you!
Music Festival: March 29, 2:30 pm - Join us for the Annual Music Festival at First CRC of Edgerton. Southwest Christian’s choirs, along with individual and choral groups from area churches, will present selections during this afternoon of praise. The audience will be invited to join the mass choir for the Hallelujah Chorus. An offering will be collected for Southwest Christian High School (sponsored as a fundraiser by Circle #12).
Justice for All invites you to attend the Get To Know JFA Event on March 28, 2026 at the Terrace View Event Center, Sioux Center, IA, 5:30 – 8:00PM. JFA Ministry programs (Service & Learning, Sharing & Caring, and Transitional Housing) will be presented and then get ready for some fun!! JFA has invited Christian comedian and illusionist Joshua Jordan back again for a great time of laughs and magic! Entertainment for All ages! The catered meal will feature flavors and dishes inspired by the cultures and communities of our ministry partners. Reservations can be made by calling 712-476-2804 or emailing joeldw@jfa-nwiowa.org. ($75/ticket or $500 for a table of 8) Kids welcome to join us as we celebrate JFA ministry and enjoy a fun evening!!
ATLAS for Life will be hosting their spring 13-week GriefShare Support Group. The first gathering will be held on TUESDAY, February 24 and run through May. Each evening will begin at 5:30 pm at ATLAS (101 2nd St. NE – Pipestone) and conclude around 7:00 pm. A light refreshment will be served. The journey of grief is different for each individual, but there are useful insights to help and encourage you through videos and group discussions. You may join the group at any time during the course of the meetings. Call (507) 562-5777 with questions or to sign up! A contribution of $10.00 by each participant to help cover the cost of the book will be appreciated.
