EDGE Youth Live Auction & Supper: Join us on Wednesday, November 11, for our EDGE Youth fundraiser! Chili, grilled cheese sandwiches, and bars will be served from 5:00–6:30 p.m., with the live auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is one of our major fundraisers for the EDGE Youth Group, and all high school students are asked to help with the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend! Come out, support our youth, and let's make it a great night!

EDGE Youth Live Auction Donations: We are looking for donations for our upcoming EDGE Youth Live Auction on Wednesday, November 11. New items, gift baskets, and homemade baked goods would all be greatly appreciated. If you have something you would like to donate, please contact Shawn Ranek at 507-215-1367 before bringing your item. We kindly ask that all donated items be new (no used items, please) and that items not be dropped off without prior arrangements. Thank you for your continued support of our youth!

Edgerton Food Shelf: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 -

The Edgerton Food Shelf continues to bless around 100–140 individuals each month, serving families on the third Saturday morning at First Reformed Church. Along with our regular distribution of canned goods, peanut butter, jelly, applesauce, hamburger, cereal, milk, bread, margarine, mac & cheese, and toilet paper, we will also be providing turkeys on Saturday, November 21, and hams on Saturday, December 19, to help families during the holiday season.

If you know of someone who could benefit from this ministry, please contact Shar Miedema (507) 820-0225, Brenda Kooi (507) 227-5174 or Sandy Menning (507) 215-4030. We are thankful for the opportunity to share God's blessings with those in our community!

Thanksgiving Meal: No plans for Thanksgiving Day lunch? Join us after the Thanksgiving Day Service, Thursday, November 26 at 11:00 a.m. Serving turkey, ham, and all the other holiday favorites. Please call or text Jason (507-227-5739) or Shanna Snyder (507-227-3953) and RSVP with the number of guests (so we have enough food) or sign up on the coffee counter by Nov 22. This invitation is open to anyone! (Please no take-out or delivery.)

Operation Christmas Child: There’s still time to bless a child this Christmas! Shoeboxes are available at First Reformed Church for anyone who would like to participate. Collection Week is November 16-22. Please return your filled shoeboxes to the church by noon on Sunday, November 22, so they can be shipped out. Thank you for helping share God’s love with children around the world!

Coffee Break: Neither morning nor evening Coffee Break and Story Hour will meet on November 25.

Bloodmobile: There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the First Reformed Church in Edgerton on Monday, November 16, from 12:30 until 6:30pm. Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or fbhuisken@gmail.com to make or confirm an appointment. There is a constant need for blood. Every 2 seconds someone/somewhere in the U.S.A. needs blood. Only 2% of Americans donate blood. If you are 16 years (with parental consent) or older and in good health, you are able to donate.

Peter Fish: During the Children’s Message today, we will be handing out Peter Fish collection banks to all children in preschool through 5th grade. We encourage families to fill their Peter Fish with spare change and bring them back on Thanksgiving morning, November 26! The children will bring their fish forward during the Children’s Message. All funds collected will go toward supporting Dana Frost and her missionary aviation work with Proclaim Aviation Ministries. Thank you for helping our children make a difference!
