Thank You: We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the cards, prayers, and words of sympathy following the loss of our mother, Elvira. It means so much to us to be a part of a caring church family. Your constant love and support have been a true blessing to us. -Orv & Deb Corbin
Pastor Appreciation Month: We want to thank Pastor Mark, his wife Kristin, and their family for all they do for First Reformed Church. We are grateful for Pastor Mark's faithful leadership, prayers, and love for our congregation. Thank you for the time & care your family gives to our church. We are truly blessed to have you!
Thank You: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Fall Soup Supper such a wonderful success! We are so grateful for the tremendous turnout and for the incredible support from our congregation. Your generous donations, willingness to lend a hand, and cheerful spirits made the evening truly special.
Nomination Ballots: Last week the nomination ballots were placed in your mailboxes. Please return them by noon on Sunday, October 25.
Sunday School Offering: This year, our Sunday School offerings will support Dana Frost, who has been attending our church since late Spring. Dana is a graduate of Moody Aviation (a branch of Moody Bible Institute) and is currently building flight hours at Proclaim Aviation Ministries in Worthington as she prepares to become a missionary pilot in East Africa. We would love to support her technical evaluation, which she will need to take to go overseas. We are excited for our Sunday School kids to personally connect with Dana, hear about her journey, and see firsthand where their offerings are going. Please keep Dana in your prayers as she continues her training and spreads God's word.
Profession of Faith Class: A new Profession of Faith class begins Sunday, November 1, and runs through December 20. Classes will take place each Lord's Day following worship (excluding Thanksgiving weekend). The Sunday for making Profession of Faith will be January 10, 2027. If you're interested, talk to Pastor Mark.
Reformation Breakfast: Join us for the Jr. High Fusion Reformation Pancake Breakfast following worship on Sunday, October 25. Our Jr. High students will be serving pancakes and sausage for a free-will donation. All proceeds will help support their summer camp in Viborg, SD, this August. Thank you for your continued support!
Children’s Message Volunteers Needed: We are looking for a few more volunteers, men or women, to help with our Children’s Message during Sunday worship! Messages are approximately 5 minutes long, about 8 times a year. A Children’s Message guide and other resources are available to help you prepare. If you are willing to help, please contact Caitlin Arp.
