The Week’s Announcements
Reformation Breakfast: Join us on Sunday, October 26, for our Jr. High Reformation Pancake Breakfast, following the worship service. We'll be serving delicious pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and milk - all for a free-will donation. Proceeds will go to support our Jr. High students. Everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the meal!
Thank You: The Soup Supper Committee would like to thank everyone that worked or donated food for our Fall Soup Supper. We are called to serve with willing hearts, and doing so reflects the love and grace of God. This was witnessed by the huge success of Wednesday’s soup supper. Net proceeds will go towards local missions.
Profession of Faith Class: Students who are interested in making profession of faith and becoming members of our congregation are invited to attend an orientation class on October 12. Classes will then meet on November 2, 9, 16, 23, and December 7 and 14. If you are considering taking this important step, please talk to Pastor Mark for more information.
Pigs-in-the-blanket: The ladies will be making pigs-in-the-blanket on October 13 at 9:00 a.m. and will finish them on October 14 at 1:00 p.m. Extra help is always appreciated.
Trip Committee: We are putting together a Trip Planning Committee to help organize future outings & trips for the youth in our church family. If you enjoy planning and would like to be part of creating meaningful experiences, we would love to have you join. Please contact Jason Snyder or Caitlin Arp, if you are interested.
The Story Retold class will meet on October 12 instead of the 19th because Pastor Mark will be gone for the Reformation & Worship Conference. We will meet at 10:50 in the Sanctuary and looking at the big themes in the Gospel of Mark.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we want to thank you, Pastor Mark, for the many ways you serve our church. Through faithfully preaching God’s Word each week, you challenge and encourage us to grow in our walk with Christ. You also invest in our youth and care deeply for our congregation, offering prayer, support, and compassion. We are truly grateful for you, your wife, and your family, and for the love you share with our church congregation!
Nursery Volunteers: If you would like to be added to the nursery schedule or need to be removed, please let Caitlin Arp know. Thank you for serving our little ones!
Justice for All is having their Annual Meeting and Auction Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the South building of their ministry campus in Rock Valley.
