Thank You: A BIG thank you to all of you for making the 2024 Soup Supper a success again! The desserts were delicious, the soups were yummy and the workers for the outstanding. It takes the whole church to make this work and the committee appreciated your help in this. We served about 215-220 people with a donation of about $2,100. The RCW will designate this money to a certain mission.

Fall Clean-up: Join us for a church grounds cleanup on Saturday, October 26, at 9:00 am. We need all hands on deck, so bring your trimmers, rakes, leaf blowers, garbage bags, clippers, or anything else that could help tidy up. If you have a pickup truck, it would be great for hauling things away. Anyone is welcome to come and help!

Soup Supper: This is the last reminder to sign-up for the Fall Soup Supper. Please check the sign-up poster for what is still needed. Men please consider helping as there can be some heavy lifting. If you are bringing soup before noon on Wednesday, please place in the fridge. If you bring after noon, please bring soup warm. Hamburger should be at in the church kitchen by late Monday, as we make the BBQ on Tuesday. All soups and desserts need to be at church by 3:00 p.m. The committee greatly appreciates your willingness to donate and work.

Soup Supper: It’s soup time! The RCW Fall Soup Supper will be on October 2, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Now is the time to sign up for soups, desserts, and work times. Bloodmobile: There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the First Christian Reformed Church in Edgerton on Monday, September 16 from 12:30 until 6:30. Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or fbhuisken@gmail.com to make or to confirm an appointment. We are always looking for new donors. There is an urgent need for blood. Every 2 seconds someone/somewhere in the U.S.A. is in need of blood. Anyone 16 yrs (with parent’s permission) or older and in good health can donate.

Thank You: Huge shout out to Mark & Diane Brockberg for their amazing spiritual influence on the youth of our church. Witnessing Diane and her constant devotion to helping our youth not only find Christ but to be active witnesses for Him is inspiring. Our church family should be so proud that kids from our entire community seek The Lord through this ministry. What a privilege to have been asked to accompany kids on their RYM trip. Vacation Bible School: THANK YOU to all our volunteers, pastors, parents, and children who helped make this week a huge success! Without you and your time, we couldn't do it. We are so blessed to be able to pour into the lives of children in this congregation and community! We were blessed with over 200+ children attending our VBS week. This year's theme was "Diving into Friendship with God" and a verse we focused on John 3:16. It's our prayer that Scuba VBS will immerse everyone in a deeper, richer relationship with God.
