Super Bowl Sliders:  Mark your calendars. It’s that time again, Fusion   (Jr. High) Youth Group will be selling Super Bowl Sliders!  We will be making them on Friday, February 9. All Jr. High kids are encouraged to be there to help!  Any parental help would also be appreciated.  There is an order form on the Welcome Counter if you would like to order or talk to a Jr. High student. Pickup for the sliders will be on Friday, Feb 9 from 6:30-8pm or following the service on Sunday, February 11. 

Presbytery:  The first meeting of 2024 for Rivers and Lakes Presbytery is coming up on January 26 & 27. The meeting is being co-hosted by First Presbyterian in Waukegan, IL, and Hope Evangelical Presbyterian in Grayslake, IL. Please pray for safe travel for Pastor Mark, Loren Bleyenburg, and Jason Snyder as they travel and represent our congregation at the meeting.

Bloodmobile:  There will be a Red Cross blood drive at the First Reformed Church in Edgerton on Monday, January 29, 2024 from 12:30 until 6:30.  Please call Betty at 507-227-8416 or fbhuisken@gmail.com to make an appointment.  There is a constant need for blood. Anyone 16 yrs. (with parents consent) or older and in good health can donate.  We are looking for newer members of our community to step up and donate a unit of blood for someone/somewhere.

Prayer Chain:  Stay connected with our faith community through prayer requests and updates. Text EFRCPRAYER to 84576 to subscribe and be a part of this powerful network of prayer.  If you have a prayer request to add to the Prayer Chain you can text or call 507-369-6275. We suggest putting this number in your contacts so you have it when you need it!  Prayer items will only be added to the Prayer Chain by request from the person or a close family member.  If you are unable to receive text messages, please let Caty Arp know and we will put together a traditional prayer chain via phone calls with those who are unable to receive text messages.

THANK YOU  to everyone who helped with food, donated items for the auction, donated their talent of being our auctioneers (Justin & Jeff), and to everyone who came to support the Edge Youth Fundraiser! We are overwhelmed with the support and very grateful for all who made the fundraiser a huge success! We raised a total of $11,134.50 this past Wednesday! 

 Note:  Join other Christians and go to our State Capitol on Monday, January 22.  A motorcoach will be departing Pipestone at 7 am from Pipestone CRC and departing Woodstock Community Church at 7:20 am.  Join others for a time of great fellowship, worship, and encouragement as we ride to the cities.    The cost is $55 for the comfortable ride, your meals are at your own expense. (Feel free to take a sack lunch if you prefer)   We will return around 7 pm!  Call Roxie Mulder asap at 507-227-0905 or roxiestours@gmail.com to reserve your spot.  Please pray for the weather to be good for travel and God's blessings. If you can't go, would you join us in prayer for the 1000's that will gather at our capitol that day?

Fundraiser for Helping Hand Pregnancy Center at the Worthington Pizza Ranch.  Worthington Christian Church is teaming up with Pizza Ranch for our Community Faith & Family Night on Wednesday, January 24 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Come for a night of pizza and fun.  Part of the proceeds will go towards Helping Hand Pregnancy Center.

 Hope Haven Presents Dylan Scott:  Exciting News!! Mark your calendars for this fun event for all ages on Thursday, March 14 at The District in Sioux Falls.  Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show begins at 8:00 p.m. Curb Records recording country artist Dylan Scott is a triple threat.  A powerful vocalist with a deep, unmistakable drawl, an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit, and a family man with a tender heart.  The ACM nominated, multi-Platinum singer has notched three #1 singles  -  My Girl, Nobody, and New Truck, and Top 5 hit  -  Hooked.  Scott is a 2023 ACM nominee in the category, New Male Artist of the Year.  Purchase tickets:  hopehaven.org/events.
