Ethiopia Trip Update #1
The trip to teach in Ethiopia is underway. The flight to Chicago was uneventful, which is the best kind of flight. Sioux Falls was snowy and hazy. Chicago was sunny with significantly less snow.
I will take the hotel shuttle back to O’Hare early Friday morning and leave for Addis Ababa. I will arrive there at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Africa time. The first day will consist of adjusting to the time change and attending Samuel’s brother’s wedding. According to Samuel, an Ethiopian wedding is an all-day affair that involves being at the bride and groom's homes and making their way to the church.
