New Church Officers: The newly selected Ruling Elders are Jeff Bleyenburg and Dave Rieck. The new Deacons are Kellen Kooi, Lucas Roskamp, and Reed Van Hulzen. If there is any scriptural reason why these men should not be ordained and installed to their office, please see Jason Snyder or Pastor Mark.

Christmas Candlelight Service: Join us for a joyful evening as we celebrate the birth of our Savior at our annual Christmas Candlelight Service tonight at 6:30pm. The night will include the Children’s Christmas Program, music from the Chapel Choir, and special selection from our 6th–12th grade students, along with a few additional special numbers. Come and enjoy a meaningful night of Scripture, music, and candlelight as we gather to rejoice in the hope of Christmas. All are warmly invited!

Name Change Vote Update: Thank you to all who participated in the name change vote. We received 13 absentee “yes” votes and 9 “no” votes. On Sunday, following the service, 61 “yes” votes and 41 “no” votes were cast.

Because a 70% majority was required to approve the change, the motion did not pass. The church name will remain the same, with the tag line “First Reformed Church, an Evangelical Presbyterian Church.”

Coffee Break Bible Study and Story Hour will not meet December 24 and 31. This includes both evening and morning sessions.
