Thanksgiving Offering: The Thanksgiving Day service is coming up on November 27. The Deacons are recommending the following designated places for consideration for your Thanksgiving Offering: Grace Covenant Ministries in Kentucky, Property Improvement Fund (Street Improvements), and upgrading the sound system.
Peter Fish: We’re excited to bring back our Peter Fish Banks this Thursday during our Thanksgiving service! During the Children’s Message, the kids are asked to bring their Peter Fish to the front. If you can't be here on Thursday, just bring yours back next Sunday or the following. And if you happen to have any extra Peter Fish at home, we would love to gather those also. Since we can no longer order new Peter Fish banks, we want to make the most of the ones we have. Thank you!
Thanksgiving Meal: No plans for Thanksgiving Day lunch? Join us after the Thanksgiving Day Service, Thursday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. Serving turkey, ham and all the other holiday favorites. Please call or text Jason or Shanna Snyder and RSVP with the number of guests (so we have enough food), or stop in church and talk to Pastor Mark. This invitation is open to anyone. If you know of anyone in the community that needs a place to celebrate Thanksgiving, please invite them and let us know. Please no take-out or delivery.
Name Change Vote: On Sunday, December 7, we will hold a formal vote on the proposed church name immediately following the morning service. All members are encouraged to stay and participate as we seek God’s guidance together. Thank you for being part of this important step in our church’s future.
Edgerton Food Shelf Angel Tree: We invite you to participate in our 4th Annual Angel Tree/Gift Drive at First Reformed Church. The tree, located in the entryway, is decorated with ornaments, each representing a gift request or need. Simply take an ornament, purchase the item listed, and place the unwrapped gift in the tote beside the tree. We will be collecting items from Nov. 29 - Dec. 17. By doing so, you'll help us bring a little extra holiday cheer to local Food Shelf members in need. Let’s make this season brighter together!
Operation Christmas Child: Please consider packing a shoe box gift for all the boys and girls who may not get one this year. One box touches the entire family and teaches them about the good news of Jesus Christ. The boxes are by the Welcome desk. Bring them back November 17-23rd. That gives you plenty of time to take the children or grandchildren shopping and let them help you choose gifts. The $10 donation for shipping is being paid by our church again this year. If you have any questions, let me know anytime. Iris Talsma
Coffee Break: There will be no morning or evening Coffee Break on Wednesday, November 26.
Prisicilla Circle will be having small group meetings in the Fellowship Hall at 1:30 p.m. on the following dates: November 24, December 1, December 8, and December 15.
