Helpers needed: We will be setting up the Christmas trees and decorating following the church service today. Any help is appreciated!
Sympathy is expressed to the family of Lois Jean Klumper who passed away last Sunday. The funeral was held on Friday.
Congregational Meeting: Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be held Monday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m.. Those who have been nominated to the office of Ruling Elder are: Jeff Bleyenburg, Dave Rieck, Lucas Roskamp, and Dennis Smit. Those who have been nominated to the office of Deacon are: Kellen Kooi, Logan Bleyenburg, Lucas Roskamp, Kirk Dirksen, and Reed Van Hulzen.
Christmas Program Practice: Midweek students in preschool–5th grade will be practicing for the Christmas Program on Sunday, December 14 and 21, following the morning service until 11:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Kids may quickly grab a cookie and juice beforehand. Our students will be singing during the Candlelight Service on Sunday, December 21 at 6:30 p.m.
Name Change Vote: On Sunday, December 7, we will hold a formal vote on the proposed church name immediately following the morning service. All members are encouraged to stay and participate as we seek God’s guidance together. Thank you for being part of this important step in our church’s future. If you are unable to attend, there are absentee ballots on the welcome desk.
Prisicilla Circle will be having small group meetings in the Fellowship Hall at 1:30 p.m. on the following days: December 8 and December 15.
Edgerton Food Shelf Angel Tree: We invite you to participate in our 4th Annual Angel Tree/Gift Drive at First Reformed Church. The tree, located in the entryway, is decorated with ornaments, each representing a gift request or need. Simply take an ornament, purchase the item listed, and place the unwrapped gift in the tote beside the tree. We will be collecting items from Nov. 29 - Dec. 17. By doing so, you'll help us bring a little extra holiday cheer to local Food Shelf members in need. Let’s make this season brighter together!
