EGDE Thank you: We are grateful for all the support shown for our EDGE kickoff last Sunday. Even though the kickball game was canceled due to the weather, our church family came out in force to support our youth. We raised $885 and served 93 meals. Your generosity and encouragement make a lasting impact on our youth.
Pigs-in-the-blanket: The ladies will be making pigs-in-the-blanket on Monday, September 29 at 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m.
The Story Retold: Join us as we begin a new session of Story Retold! We’ll meet Sunday, September 21, at 10:50 a.m. in the Sanctuary. This 20-minute class will explore the Gospel of Matthew, focusing on practical ways to read and understand this book. We are now moving into individual New Testament books, and new participants are welcome—each class can stand alone. Come and grow in your understanding of God’s Word!
Profession of Faith Class: Students who are interested in making profession of faith and becoming members of our congregation are invited to attend an orientation class on October 12. Classes will then meet on November 2, 9, 16, 23, and December 7 and 14. If you are considering taking this important step, please talk to Pastor Mark for more information.
Coffee Break could use a couple volunteers to help in the nursery while the young moms study the Bible. If you think you might be able to help out two times a month on Wednesday morning please contact Thea Nykamp.
Upcoming Dates:
Presbytery (Blomkest, MN) - September 26 & 27

Coffee Break will begin September 17, 2025 at First Christian Reformed Church. The morning group will meet at 9:30 in the Fellowship Room with Story Hour and nursery provided for children. The evening group will meet at 6:30 in the Council Room (no Story Hour or nursery). If you have questions call or text Thea Nykamp (morning group) or Priscilla Pater (evening group).
